Based in Cadiz, Spain – Sail Excel is a small group of sailors who are committed to offering high quality and professional RYA sail training courses, race training programs and sail yacht charter experiences to discerning clients all year round.

We specialise in RYA sail training courses, race yacht training, offshore mile-building & sailboat adventures. (Morocco, Seville, Portugal, and The Canaries). The (RYA) Royal Yachting Association is the national governing body for water-sports in the United Kingdom and is respected worldwide.

All our practical RYA sailing courses are tidal, from beginners to the more expert. (Competent Crew to Yachtmaster Offshore D.O.T.)

Race training courses give an opportunity to try your hand at yacht racing. There are performance sail-training weekends and longer more extensive five day race-training programmes. You may even wish to make your yacht perform better on the water and learn the “dark art” of sail-trim and spinnakers!

Mile-building passages to the Canary Isles, the Balearics and to Northern Spain (Biscay) are challenge-based and non-stop (i.e 24hrs a day) you get real experience offshore, working a yacht at sea, navigating, weather mapping and working watches, all conducted by a qualified RYA yachtmaster instructor with a wealth of knowledge and experience to share.

Adventure & Explore itineraries can consist of simply a weekend away to sail through a National Park. Or, a seven day cruise South from Cadiz to Gibraltar and on round the well known “Cabo de Gata” to explore the stunning coast of Almeria. You can even “tailor-make” your own adventure.
